Carolyn grew up and lived in the Dallas area her entire life. She graduated from W.W. Samuel High School in 1970. In her employment outside the home she was a bookkeeper with very precise skills. Her most beloved job was being a mother and caretaker who always put others before herself.
Carolyn was an avid sports fan who was always present when her children and grandchildren were participating in sports or other activities. She also enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers despite their record.
Carolyn had a wonderful smile and a contagious laughter which filled the air at family gatherings. Her sense of humor and quick wit were amazing. When she told stories and jokes she always delivered the punch line on time.
Carolyn was beautiful both inside and out. She loved her family unconditionally with mercy and grace. Her absence will be felt in all the days going forward and her presence will never be replaced. We will all miss her greatly.
