Barbara "Nana" Sanchez

Barbara "NaNa" Sanchez was born October 19, 1966 in San Antonio, TX and went home to meet her Lord and Saviour on November 26, 2022 in Waxahachie, TX at the age of 56. She is preceded in death by her father Juan Pablo Esquivel, sister Brenda Esquivel Rojas and her brother in law James P. Guerrero Sr.

Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 12 years Benjamin Sanchez, daughter Andrea Casados and husband Anthony, daughter Miranda Brown and husband James, 4 grandchildren Zachary Casados, Ezra James Brown, Elijah Casados and Maya Marie Brown, mother Josie Esquivel, sister Bridget Guerrero, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and a host of other friends and family who are all left to cherish her life and legacy that she leaves behind.

Barbara taught School at Foster Elementary in Dallas, TX and at Ebby Halliday Elementary School in Dallas, TX up until she passed away. Barbara was very active in her families lives and loved spending time with her beloved grandchildren and being involved in her churches activities especially the women's ministries at Pleasant Grove Church of Christ. When Barbara was unable to attend church in person she was always watching the services online as she loved her church and her church family so much. Barbara also loved to bake and work in her garden and her favorite color was purple. The family is asking that everyone who attends the service to please wear your favorite Purple attire.
