William Gilbert O'Connor

Lieutenant Colonel William G. O’Connor USAF (Retired), 92, passed away on February 27, 2014 in Gilbert, Arizona. Bill was born on January 22, 1922 in Riverside, New Jersey to William Frances and Margaret Hannah (Gilbert) O’Connor. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Patricia O’Connor; two children Michael "Mike" (Laura) O’Connor, Caroline “Corrie” (Paul) Creasman; four grandchildren Michael O’Connor, Kaitlin O’Connor, Andrew Creasman, and Emily Creasman; brother, Albert G. O'Connor; and sister, Margaret H. (Lou) Silvester. Bill will be missed dearly by his family and friends. Services will be held on March 11, 2014 at Mariposa Gardens 6747 East Broadway Road Mesa, Arizona 85206 at Eleven o’clock in the morning; Inurnment will take place at National Cemetery of Arizona 23029 N Cave Creek Rd, Phoenix, Arizona 85024 at precisely 1:30 in the afternoon. Reception will follow the Inurnment at Corrie’s home in Phoenix, Arizona.
