Virginia May Wilcox

She was born in Madison, Wisconsin on May 19, 1939.

Virginia lived a very full life. She lived in many states over the years, and made friends in all of them. She raised her children, had a career, and took up golf upon her retirement.

She spent her last days surrounded by her family, and her youngest daughter was holding her hand when Virginia took her last breath.

Virginia is survived by her children: David Cox, Linda Popard, and Cynthia Sanders; grandchildren: Randy Cox, Jeffrey Cox, Jeremy Cox, Christopher Graves, Michael Sachs, Brandon Sanders, Skyler Sanders, Johnny Sanders, and Jerry Sanders; great-grandchildren: Julian Knepp-Sanders, Arthur Graves, Jessalyn Cox, and Savanna Cox; siblings: Richard Nordness, Don Nordness, and Jim Nordness.

A memorial service will be held in the chapel at Mariposa Gardens Funeral Care in Mesa on Tuesday, April 17th at 10am in the Cemetery Chapel.
