I remember Uncle Vic coming to our house on Edgecliff at Christmas time when I was about 4-5 years old.  He made Christmas so much fun talking about Santa Claus coming!  He had a twinkle in his eyes as he and I had a long conversation about it.

One of our fondest memories was of the Hiking clubs trip to Sedona with Chris and Vic.  We hiked over 20 miles over a few days.  Even when the terrain was rough Vic had us laughing!  Afterwards we had a wonderful time commiserating over the arduous journey with a guide who got us a bit lost!  Lots of food and drinks and laughter.  Vic also  could find a Krispy Crème donut shop no matter where we were!

Vic will be missed.

I am very sorry for the family's loss.  Uncle Vic was a wonderful person.  I have memories going to the house in Affton, Missouri during the holidays when I was fairly young.  I think only Richard and Greg had been born at that point.  We went through a kind of a breezeway and down steps and had our holiday party downstairs in the basement.  And there was soda, which we only got a few times a year, lol.

Uncle Vic had a great sense of humor, always making jokes.  He had a dry sense of humor, like my dad Bob, his brother.  They were both so funny! 

I remember Uncle Vic when he came when my dad  Bob died and he spent time distracting us at Zigenheins by the pool with the goldfish in it.  He was a kind and loving man, its a shame we couldnt all stay close.  Praying for comfort and good memories for  you all.

Chris you both held a special place in our heart. Always there for us and always there to help with a pup- even Tucker. Vic had a huge heart and he will be missed.

We will always remember Vic as as a man that was upbeat, enjoying life and friends. We had some great times golfing, dinners and an outstanding week vacationing in Mexico.

While we were saddened to know of his passing we will continue to have those memories and build new ones with Chris.

Vic and I were friends for 25 years. We met as neighbors when he and Chris moved into the house next to mine in NE Mesa. We shared common enjoyment for DIY projects around our homes and would occasionally summon each other's help when extra muscle was needed. We actually became closer friends when Vic and Chris moved to their view home a couple miles up the hill. We'd go to the movies every few weeks and then enjoyed lunch together at some fast-food joint. 
I enjoy the outdoors and was able to talk Vic into joining me for a few hikes. Two most memorable destinations were to the top of Camelback Mountain and to Fremont Saddle in the Superstition Mountain Wilderness. In both cases, Vic needed a little encouragement to reach the top, but afterwards we often thought of those memories fondly. 
When my wife passed away in 2017, Vic was there as a friend to help me cope. When Vic's memory began to fail, he soon sensed it was something more serious than the normal aging process.  Soon I realized that also and tried to be a good listener. 

I'll miss you Vic - Movies, lunches, hiking, and just friendly guy talk.

Vic will be dearly missed. I have childhood memories of playing Vic and Chris's piano with Katie ("Kwisten cwapped!") and of always being welcomed into their home, whether in IL or AZ. 

Thank you for being such dear friends to Mom and Dad through the decades. We love you both and are praying.

I'll always remember Uncle Vic for his quick wit and sense of humor.  I have fond memories of spending holidays with his family and my cousins in St. Louis when we were young!  My condolences to the ones who loved and will miss him.

We will cherish the 32 years of friendship we had with Vic, and will miss him so much. Grateful for the fun times we had together doing some crazy things, and will laugh at the memories. We love you, Vic! 

Lynn and I met Vic as Rich and Leanna were preparing to get married. We spent a good amount of time with he and Christine. It was to our delight to enjoy their company. Lynn especially enjoyed their company when it was discovered that they liked Black Russians as much as she did. Vic used his education and personality to the betterment of many. So very sorry that so many miles apart kept us from enjoying his company more, but he is still in our hearts and prayers 

What a great guy. Always cheerful. Full of information. Ready to take on any project. So detailed (spreadsheets for his music collection).  Loved animals, cars and Chris. We will really miss him. 

Vic and Chris opened the door of their home to host and welcome Tanya and me when we were new to Arizona.  

When we learned that Vic was an engineer, we felt excited because we had the same profession.   I loved listening to his stories about his family, driving the Corvette, and his hunger for learning new things.

Vic was charismatic, funny, intelligent, and full of wisdom and insight.   

Tanya and I loved coming across Vic on his way to pick up the mail, always looking sharp and with a smile.

We will forever cherish his friendship, stories, and love.
