Valerie LaPenta Steiger, age 60, of Mesa, Arizona passed away on Monday February 12, 2018. Valerie was born February 4, 1958. A true “Jersey Girl”, Valerie created positive and loving energy with all who touched her! After spending her first 40 years in New Jersey, Valerie and her husband Glenn moved to Arizona in 1999 where she blossomed in every aspect of her life. Her most cherished accomplishments were her daughter Megan and grandson Jaimie who continue to embody her mom’s and grandma’s loving energy. Valerie had established herself as a well-respected and highly effective Life Coach. Her direct and focused advice and direction helped hundreds of clients, friends and family members put their lives back on track.
As Valerie grew through her rich career as an administrator, marketer, counselor and life coach, she appreciated and embraced spirituality in her and others lives. She was unique as being tough yet sensitive in every aspect of her life. She was proud of her moniker and published book, “Mafia Kitten”. For those who knew her, that’s exactly who she was. But most importantly, she valued her family above all else.
Valerie is survived by her husband, Glenn Owen Steiger; daughter Megan Noonan; daughter Lindsey (Brian) Zorda; and daughter Samantha (Sean) Smith; loving grandmother of Sutter and Graham Smith, Jamie Noonan, and Mckenzie and Casey Zorda.
