Tyler James Rascon, age 20, of Mesa, Arizona entered into rest on Sunday, December 6, 2020. Tyler was born June 1, 2000 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He attended Red Mountain High School and graduated in 2018. He was currently attending Mesa Community College - Red Mountain Campus. He worked as a personal trainer at EOS Fitness and You Fit, and most recently worked security at Casa Amigos in Scottsdale.
Tyler was an incredibly self-motivated rugby player and body builder. He enjoyed playing chess and video games. He was a wanna-be rapper who loved hip hop music and movies, he was a die hard Arizona Cardinals fan and an absolute beach rat. Tyler loved to throw, catch and juggle just about anything and was a consummate prankster!
Tyler was sunshine and happiness to everyone around him. Audacious and fearless, he was a golden boy. Always smiling and loved by all who were lucky enough to know him he brightened the lives of those around him with his outgoing personality and generous loving heart. He was a true friend and a loving son.
Tyler is survived and will be deeply missed by his mother Theresa Rascon; grandmother Evelyn O' Leary (Nana), grandmother Anita Slobig, aunt Gayle Sieckert, aunt Sandy Scheppmann and his Godmother, aunt Linda Kuhn.

Tyler's half siblings Audriana & Julian Rascon, his step family: Ann & Dave Ellis, Paul & Evelyn O' Leary, Jon & Gena O' Leary, Matthew & Cynthia O' Leary, and cousins: Clint, Colin, Kevin, Zoe, Chelsea, Keelan, Hayden, Ryder, Ava, Neamiah, Kristen, Erik, Erin, Riley, Dillon, Jordyn and Elizabeth. The Students & Class of 2018 of Red Mountain High School, the ENTIRE rugby community in Scottsdale, Tempe & Mesa. And all of his friends!
A visitation for Tyler will be held Friday, December 18, 2020 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park and Funeral Care, 400 South Power Road, Mesa, AZ 85206. A memorial service will occur Saturday, December 19, 2020 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, 400 South Power Road, Mesa, AZ 85206. A cremation will occur.
