Tristan Nicholas Thacker

Tristan recently graduated from Corona del Sol High School in Tempe, Arizona. He had planned on attending Arizona State University in the fall. He was a recipient of the Obama Scholarship and an ASU Merit Scholarship, as well as the NAU Lumberjack Scholarship.

From age two, Tristan knew what he wanted, and he rarely veered from the path he set out on. His friends came to know him as direct, independent and fiercely opinionated.

He loved working with his father on projects and had become an adept woodworker. And what many of you may not know is that he loved to build skateboards and longboards.

Tristan was authentic and genuine to the core and simple in his likes and needs. When he was your friend, he was fiercely loyal and would readily share of himself. He loved children and had aspired to be a father from a young age.

Tristan will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him. He was a unique young man that anyone would be proud to call son, grandson, husband and most importantly, father.

Tristan is survived by his son Killian Freeman-Thacker, his wife Gracie Freeman, his mother Nicole Weber, his father Andy Thacker, his birthmother Heather Boydston and his birthfather Travis Chapman, his step-sister Amanda Thacker, grandmother Patricia Weber and grandma Susan Yates.

Tristan was close to his cousins, Shane, Kyle, Nicole, Samantha, Reid, Drew, Ian, Galen, Dylan, Molly, Brandyn and Kaci, his aunt and uncle Nicole and Gary Rogers, his in-laws Nicole Wilkerson-Laspaluto, David Laspaluto, and their children Madison, Easton, Caoimhe and Logan Miller.

Tristan was preceded in death by his great grandparents Maynard and Mary Bishop, and grandfather Edmund Weber.

Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, July 12th at 5:00 PM at the following:
