Timothy James Fitzgibbon

Tim was born October 28, 1948, to the late Edith Shott Fitzgibbon of Sun City, AZ and James David Fitzgibbon of Lebanon, PA, in Lebanon County, PA. He attended Lebanon High School and graduated from Massanutten Military Academy. Tim went on to achieve a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Cincinnati College - Conservatory of Music.

Tim was a prolific trombonist, playing in several bands, including Ice and Cops and Robbers. He completed numerous marathons, and earned the title of World Champion Power Lifter.

He was employed by the United States Postal Service as a Mail Handler. It was there that he met the love of his life, Jimi Lou Reed. They were married April 6, 1991.

Tim was known for his bright smile and endless positivity. He was dedicated to his friends and always had a kindness in his eyes. Tim was always the first to lend a hand or offer a shoulder. Tim was a true animal lover, and almost always had his dog Bonnie by his side. He touched many people throughout his life and will be deeply missed by many lifelong friends.

Tim is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Jimi Lou. He is survived by his son, James (Annette) Stoner, and his grandchildren, Joseph, Allison, and Jacob, as well as his cousins and many close friends who were more family than friends.
