Tom was born in Chicago on December 26, 1933. He retired from the US Airforce after spending 21 years serving his country. Tom moved to Arizona where he worked for the Arizona Department of Corrections as a corrections officer then worked as clubhouse security for the AZ Diamondbacks from the inaugural season through 2001 when they won the World Series.
Tom’s personality was larger than life. He loved to sing and dance and tell stores from his life experiences and when needed, he would “guild the lily” to make the story more interesting. He had a beautiful smile, warm heart and a laugh that was full of life just like the rest of his personality. He was devoted to his wife and family including his K-9 family members.
Tom is survived by his loving wife Nancy, his daughters Penny (Don) Kumpf, Jessica (Frank) Aleman, five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, sister Joyce Giannola and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother Joe, sister Eloise Roon and sons Thomas III and John (Eva).
