Our amazing mother, Susan Roush Shaw Harris, who spent all 79 of her years in her beloved Arizona, passed away on Saturday, December 26. As was her wish, she was surrounded to the last day by her dear husband, her very lucky children, and her adoring grandchildren. She devoted her life to others as a teacher, a musical performer, member and past-President of Assistance League East Valley, a poll-worker, hospice volunteer, a deeply- committed and active member of the Episcopal Church, the finest friend of many, and always our remarkable Ma, wife, sister, grandmother, GG, and more. She will be sorely missed by her husband, R Everett Harris; her children, Ron Shaw, Don (Bernadette) Shaw, Cindy Lopercio (Jim) Bray, Susie Shaw (John) Dunbar; her eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and her brothers Charles Roush and James Roush. She will also be missed by her 3 stepchildren, 5 step grandchildren, and one step great grandchild. A celebration of the life she lived the hell out of will be scheduled by and by.
