Susan Marie Gerow

Susan was born on October 4, 1956 in Saginaw, MI to Wayne Westphal and Theresa (Phelan) Westphal. Susan graduated from Arthur Hill High School in 1974 where she met the love of her life Michael Gerow. Susan and Mike were married on August 24, 1974. Susan gave birth to her first Son Michael in 1975 followed by Matthew in 1977. Throughout Susan’s adult life, she held jobs as a sales representative and later a real estate agent upon moving to Arizona in 1996. Susan enjoyed riding shotgun with her Husband on the back of their Harley and exploring all the beauty the desert had to offer. She loved living at the foot of “HER” mountain (The Superstion). Susan absolutely adored her four “Grandolls”, Ivana, Lillyan, Keagan & Kinley Gerow. Susan had a great zest for life and told it like it was, she wore her heart on her sleeve! Susan had a special place in her heart for all the animals of the earth, and tried to feed them all (especially the seagulls at the beach) ugghhh! Susan will be missed by her two Dogs Ella Cinderalla and Paco Taco. Susan will be greatly missed by all her family and friends and everyone that loved her.

Susan Was preceded in death by her Parents Wayne and Theresa Westphal, her Parents in law Louis and Violet (Gary) Gerow.

Susan’s memory will be cherished and kept alive by her adoring and eternal Husband Michael of 45 years and and her two son’s Michael Gerow Jr. (April Wallace) and Matthew (Lori) Gerow. Also her four “Grand Dolls” Ivana, Lillyan, Keagan and Kinley. Her Siblings David (Barb) Westphal, Thomas (Julie) Westphal & Karen (Matthew) McGowan. Susan is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews that she adored.

Honoring Susan’s wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no services at this time. In Lieu of flowers please feed the animals of the earth and think of Susie.
