Simon Fernandez Blanco

Simon F. Blanco "Nonoy" passed away peacefully in the hospital on May 22, 2016 in Mesa, Arizona, at the age of 66. After months of courageously fighting his illnesses, Simon finished his race full of faith and trust in God's plan for each of us. He was an active and strong member of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (www.incmedia.org).

Simon was born on March 10, 1950 in Manila, Philippines, to Guillermo and Lorenza. He graduated from the University of the East, with a degree of Bachelors of Science in Business Administration and Accounting. He was a retired accountant who in the recent years began various projects in the Philippines.

Simon is survived by his wife: Regina Rilag, daughters: Marilag and Regal (husband: Matthew), and grandson: Andrew. Simon has five siblings, Augusto, Marcelina, Benjamin, Jose and Rebecca.

A funeral is scheduled for Friday, June 3rd at Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park and Funeral Care 400 South Power Road Mesa, AZ 85206
