Sally Christene Scroggins, 70, of Mesa, Arizona, passed away on January 26, 2021. She was born in Laflore, Mississippi on March 2, 1950. Sally had worked for Jackson, Mississippi Schools as a cook before moving to Mesa, Arizona in October 2013 to be closer to her son and grandchildren. She was a devout Baptist, prayerful and church going. She had a passion for cooking and baking which she shared generously with her family and loved ones. She also loved doing puzzles, sewing, watching movies and had a loving green thumb when she wasn’t busy reading her bible. She is survived by her son, Henry Polk; Daughter-in-law, Cynthia Polk; three grandchildren, Henry Polk Jr., Elizabeth Polk and Stephanie Polk; her brother, Geams Earl Ford and sister, Shirley Jean Ford both of Mississippi.
