Russell S Schultz

Russell served honorably for 20 years in the USAF receiving many accolades including: The Distinguished Flying Cross, Vietnam Military Flying Cross, and many citations for honorable service and valor.

Russell was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend to many. He was active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where he served on many committees.

He is survived by his wife Ann (Karrie) of 54 years; son Mark (Sandy); daughter Deirdre (Briain); 9 grandchildren – Brianna, Meaghan, Michael, Brendan, Sean, Ryan, Donnchadh, Colin and Aidan. He is predeceased by his parents, brother Reed, and two daughters Michele Ann and Celine Marie.

The family would like to thank all who helped in the care for our father and husband including Reflections Hospice of Mesa and the staff at Silver Creek Inn Memory Care Community.

A celebration of Russell’s life will be held at Mariposa Garden’s Memorial Park, 6747 E. Broadway Rd. in Mesa, on Friday, February 6th at 10:00am. Interment will be immediately following.
