I remember Ron as being a fine individual with high standards for himself and his performance as a member of the team at SWA. It was an honor to know, and work with him.  My condolences to his family, and prayers for peace over their loss.

My dad was the best dad ever and was always there for me. One of my favorite memories was when me and my sisters took my dad golfing for fathers day and first my little sister hit the ball and it was perfect, and then i hit it, and it hit a house and my dad started to freak out! "Come on girls we need to get out of here!" but my older sister still wanted to hit her ball, so she went and that one hit the same house! My dad started freaking out and running and ran to the golf cart, and i swear he would of left without us. Me and my sisters couldn't stop laughing.

Ron and I spent alot of time on the ramps at America West and Southwest together. When Ron started at America West He was on my gate every night. He made those 8 hours every night fast and fun. Ron was the one who came up with my nickname "MURF" That stuck for over a decade. When I left America West for Southwest I begged him to go with me and after a year or so of begging him he finally called me and said. "Murf, I'm coming over,Get our gate ready. I was able to get him in to SWA and then trained him for the job. Ron has and always will have a special place in my heart, Ill never forget you buddy.

Ron was a great brother in law. I had the good luck to stay with Ron this past winter for 2 weeks. We had a great time together. I took him for his knee operation and he pulled though like a champ. He was a little nervous before the operation and did not look good but he pulled though and we went out for dinner that night. I will miss him dearly.

I am very sorry for your loss. I'm keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

 I'll always remember Ron for all the great times we had riding our harley's all around Chicago and as a coworker who help make work, feel more like high school.

Ron & I worked together at the CTA for many years and retired around the same time.  We had alot of good times at work and out of work.  Ron was a great guy and a good friend who will be missed by many.  My deepest sympathy to his family.

The world is definitely a better place because Ron Tucek lived his life as a very genuine, warm, caring sincere man. He showed those qualities to many others that were fortunate to spend any time getting to know him. I will remember him for his great laugh and sense of humor, as well as the importance he placed on family.
Ron was always genuine and listened to you when you spoke to him, even if what you were saying wasn't important, he truly listened until you were finished.
I also remember Ron for all the outdoor activities he enjoyed, and because I knew him, my family and I were there many times to share in the fun of boating, skiing or snowmobiling. He really loved the outdoors, and passed that on to his girls. 
I am certain Ron's legacy and love of life will live through his wonderful daughters, which he instilled many of his awesome qualities in.The world will also be a better place because of Ron & Diane's daughters; Ashley, Shannon and Gabby, just as it is because of Ron. God bless Ron Tucek and his entire family, and welcome him home.

I worked with Ron at Southwest Airlines in Phoenix.  He was probably the most decent and kindest person I've ever had the pleasure to work with. I'll also never forget the good times that we'd all have when a group of us would go skiing every winter in beautiful Park City, Utah.  One time in particular on our flight home we played rummy and that 90 minute flight felt like 5 minutes.  How the time just flew by!  Will always remember him so full of life with the most beautiful smile!  :)  God bless you Ron, and may you rest in peace.

Ron was truly an awesome friend. He got me into hiking. We'd go out early in the morning and when we reached the top, we'd sit there and feed the animals next to the "do not feed the animals" sign. He was always smiling and laughing. I'll miss you buddy.

I Worked with Ron at the CTA while he was in Chicago.  He was the best golf partner, carpool buddy and co-worker that anyone would want.  His great sense of humor and ability to pull off practical jokes was unmatched.  I will always remember our last golf game together before he moved to Arizona and Ron made a hole in one, his first.  God Bless you buddy and I hope that now you are able to play golf everyday.

Ron lived his life to the fullest. He did more in his short lifespan than most people could do in two life times. He had all the toys, cars, trucks, boats, motorcycles, guns, golfed hunted, fished, water skied, snow skied, bowled, skydive and gliders. When he got married and decided to have a family he sold the toys, bought a house, took extra jobs mowing lawns, snowplowing, parking cars, and driving a limo. Whatever Ron had, when he sold it, it looked better than when he bought it. When I lived with Ron and Diane after my divorce, I went into their basement on a Saturday morning and found Ron washing and waxing the washer and dryer, everything looked good. The most important thing in Ron’s life was his girls. I am sure that being Ron’s daughters that they will overcome their grief and live their lives to the fullest just like Ron.  We will all miss him, he was a true friend.

Ron was an outstanding person with many qualities and great character traits. I worked with Ron at Southwest Airlines and I always enjoyed talking to him because he was always very kind and gentle in his demeanor. Ron never had anything bad to say about anyone and had a great sense of humor. Ron was very well liked by everyone and he will be greatly missed. I am deeply sadned by this tragic loss. May God Bless him and his family.

I have so many great memories of Uncle Ron, as far back as I can remember, whether it be water skiing, snow skiing, hiking, fishing, camping or even waxing my truck.  My favorite memory is when we were fishing when I was 6 and I hooked the biggest fish on the lake……Uncle Ron, my casting needed some work.  
I will always remember Ron’s willingness to help, his adventurous spirit and wonderful smile.  I am so very thankful for the years of memories that I have with such a wonderful uncle.

Ron, I will always remember working with you at Southwest, and always chatting with you on breaks, and you always having a smile on your face, in turn put a huge one on mine. I will miss you greatly and God bless your family, I will hold the great memories of you with me forever.

Ron, you were a great neighbor as were your parents, growing up on the South Side of Chicago, and a wonderful coworker at Southwest.  I loved looking out the back of the planes as I passed through Phoenix and see you wave.  Will miss your smile and easy going attitude.

Ron truly lived his life from sky diving to glider planes to bowling. His  true love was golf. We went hunting & Harley Davidson motorcycling. He lived his life to the fullest.  He introduced me to Johnny Cash when we went to a concert. I can't list all he did but don't forget barefoot water skiing. I knew Ron for many years at CTA where we both retired.  He & I kept contact even in recent years. He came to visit San Diego & it was just like old times. I will miss him as my closest friend. My condolences to his family.

Ron was one of the nicest guys that I have ever met, he will be deeply missed.God bless him and his family.

 Ron, I have a permanent image of your sweet smiling face in my memory.  It was always such a pleasure visiting with you on Saturday nights at work. I would walk away thinking what an amazing, strong, positive man you were.  Your family was so blessed to have you, as were we at Southwest.  My sincere condolences to your family, and may you rest in peace.

I worked with Ron at the cta for many years, we retired together. "Rondo" was a good friend and a pleasure to know. I will miss him as many will. I visited Ron in Mesa as I too lived near by in Sedona AZ for 5 years. I also new Ron to be a wonderful father to his daughters. My heart goes out to all his loved ones.  "Royboy"  Roy Suarez
