Robert F. Kegel Jr., died on Saturday, December 27, 2014 in Mesa, Arizona. He was originally from Pittsburgh, PA. He has also lived in California, Oregon and Washington prior to settling down in 2011 to Mesa, Arizona. He is a beloved brother of Mary Lou Kegel, and beloved son of the deceased Robert F. Kegel, Sr. and Ruth E. Kegel. Bob was a life time active member of the MENSA Community and a member of the Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity. Bob was a great scholar, with advanced degrees from the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., Cal State University at Fullerton and Cal State Poly Technic University at Pomona. Bob was a Chemist and a professor of business at cypress college, California, as well as other California institutions of higher education. Bob was a great dog lover and protector. He was also a motorcycle enthusiast. Bob is greatly mourned and missed by his family, friends and neighbors. In lieu of flowers please make contributions to the ASPCA.
