Robert Arthur Caughey Jr.

Robert Arthur Caughey, affectionately known as "Bob," peacefully departed this world at the age of 85 on September 23, 2023, surrounded by his loving son and daughter. Born in Glendale, California, on December 10, 1937, Robert cherished a joyful childhood in his hometown.

In recent years, he divided his time between the warm embrace of his son Robert & Charis' residence in Turlock, California, and his daughter's welcoming home in Mesa, Arizona. Robert was a globetrotter, having explored destinations like Maui, Egypt, and Italy with his beloved family in the past year. He also shared many adventures with his sister Bernice Caughey, sister Barbara Drapalik, and "Mums" Eunice Caughey.

Robert leaves behind a legacy cherished by many, survived by his devoted son Robert Patrick Caughey, cherished daughter Kristen Caughey-Miller, caring daughter-in-law Charis Caughey, loving brother Allen Caughey, and adored sister Barbara Drapalik. His memory lives on through his beloved grandchildren: Justin Miller, Shelby Garcia, Alyssa Owen, Megan Caughey, Jorian Caughey, and his great-grandson, Greysen Garcia.

Throughout his life, Robert was deeply passionate about photography, golf, traveling adventures, embracing the cowboy spirit, and cruising in his iconic 1965 Jaguar convertible. His warm, welcoming presence left an indelible mark on everyone he encountered, from friends to in-laws and former in-laws alike. Robert held a special place in the hearts of all who knew him.
