Robert A. “Bobby” Browne passed away on March 5, 2012, in Mesa, Arizona. Born in West Palm Beach, Florida, to Willis and Barbara (nee Smith) Browne, Bobby arrived on December 14, 1951. A United States Army Veteran, he proudly served his country, as a CH-47 helicopter mechanic. Bobby was a Transportation Supervisor for the US Postal Service, Phoenix, AZ. He was an avid football fan and he cheered for the Miami Dolphins. He enjoyed playing Texas Hold ‘Em Poker, and he routinely hosted poker parties for his friends. He is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Claudia Browne, his son Robert Browne Jr., daughter Katie Browne, grandchildren Kylie and Elizabeth, his brother Roger (Shirley) Browne, and his step-mother Gwen. He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial /celebration of life service honoring Robert will be held Friday, March 9, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Central Christian Church 933 North Lindsay Road Mesa, Arizona 85213.
