Bob was born in Oak Park, Illinois on March 8, 1946. He is the beloved husband of Barbara (Barb) whom he married 38 years ago.
He served in the United States Navy for seven and a half years. Part of his service included assignments on the USS Lexington and USS New Jersey, wherein he received a Letter of Commendation.
After meeting his wife Barb in Illinois, they moved to Arizona where Bob established himself as a general contractor for over 40 years in the Phoenix area. He enjoyed working in his shop, finding a great deal at a local yard sale, telling his children wild tales of his youth, spoiling his dogs, and spending time with his family whom he loved dearly.
He is survived by his wife Barbara Brandt, daughter Lynsey Brandt, son Robert Brandt, sisters Karen (Gerry) DuBois of Peterborough, NH and Marg Issen of St. Paul, MN.
He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Ruth Brandt.
Per Bobs wishes, there will be no services and interment will be private for the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Bob’s name to the Arizona Humane Society.
