Rick Melcher

Rick Melcher, 49, of Mesa, passed away unexpectedly on March 18, 2013 in Payson, Arizona. Rick was known for his love of the outdoors, his adventurous but gentle soul, his appreciation of all forms of transportation and his talents to fix them. He is survived by his parents Tom and Pat, brothers Dan and Wes, sister Carla (Tim) Hines, nephews Drew, Jacob and Daniel and niece Kaitlyn. Rick was proud and honored by those that have been able to serve in the US military and in law enforcement, even though he was not able to enlist he would do everything he could to give back including regular blood donations. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 24, 2013 from 11 – 1:00 pm, Melcher Mortuary Mission Chapel, 6625 E. Main St., Mesa, AZ 85205, Services honoring his admired will and strength will begin at 1:00 pm concluding in the chapel.
