10th, 2021 in the comfort of his Mesa home at the
Age of 93. He was born in Cedarville, Ohio on July
23rd 1928. He graduated from Cedarville High then
went on to enlist in U.S. Navy. He served from June
1949-June 1953. In civilian life he was employed as
a highly skilled Heliarc welder with Honeywell until his
retirement. He was a quiet, reserved man with a good
sense of humor. Richard loved pitching horseshoes, for which
he won several trophies. He also enjoyed restoring cars,
and buliding things using his talent for welding.
Richard leaves behind his wife of 63 years, Patricia Ann
his 2 children, Carolyn Stormont and Kathleen Fountain.
He also leaves behind 2 grandchildren, and 3 great-
grandchildren. Richard will be sorely missed by all who
knew him.
