Ralph originally relocated to Arizona from Utah in the early 70’s with his wife at the time, where they welcomed a daughter Cristy in 1973 and later divorced. Ralph found a love for Arizona where he enjoyed the desert and the outdoors - 4-wheeling, hiking, fishing and camping with friends and family. He was an avid runner for a number of years participating in marathons, member of a men’s softball team and loved to travel. Ralph returned to Utah in 1990, where he met his current wife, Rochelle and they later returned to Arizona in 2003. Ralph and Rochelle were married for 30 years.
Ralph earned a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering which benefited him all throughout his life in many roles including as a product design engineer. He had an entrepreneurial spirit and owned several successful businesses in his short life, the most recent being a wood manufacturing company. He had an artistic talent, was a jack of all trades, and enjoyed just about any project including restoring vintage Corvettes. More recently he became an avid hunter.
Ralph is survived by his wife Rochelle, his daughter Cristy (Elliott) McPherson, step-daughter Jenaya (Anthony) Fogel, step-son John Alexander (Alex) Coones. Ralph has 3 grandchildren, Melanie (30), Jessica (24) and Lance (22) and a step-grandson, Isaac (3 1/2). He is sorely missed by his beloved dog Boston, who spent everyday by his side as his work companion.
