Patsy G. Switzer

Born August 4, 1929, to Gilbert and Marie Blunt, Patsy, was a unique and caring individual who touched the lives of all who knew her. She graduated from Kearny High School in San Diego, CA, where she developed a passion for literature.

She married Louis R. Switzer on September 16, 1950, whom she raised five children with and shared 61 loving years together. She was dedicated to her family, near and far away, and enjoyed communicating through her love of writing. She worked the majority of her career and retired from JC Penney’s in Victorville, CA.

Patsy was a collector of many trinkets, both for herself and her loved ones, but she cherished her collection of the California Raisins the most. She adored being near the ocean, taking walks on the beach gathering seashells and pieces driftwood. She also loved getting dressed up for events or just for a fun night out on the town.

She is survived by her children, Trish, Kara and her husband, Joe and his wife, Julie and her husband, Vicki; fifteen grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

A memorial will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 10:00am, at the Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park, 6747 E. Broadway Road, Mesa, AZ 85206.
