Patricia Ann Murphy

Patricia Ann Murphy, 81, born in Chicago, Illinois on October 8th, 1941. Patricia was the middle child, and only daughter, of Paul and Frances McNeer (Czopek). She proudly worked for Smitty’s grocery stores for over 30 years. She had an attraction to numbers. She worked her way up to Supervisor in Accounting department at the corporate office. Later she worked in the sales audit at the store level.

After retirement she and her husband enjoyed many RV trips around the United States. She enjoyed her social activities in various groups. She was a member of “Weekender Club and Gadabouts” as well as “TOPS”. She loved being involved and helping within these groups. Even became treasure making sure the books would balance. Within these groups several members got together frequently to play various cards.

Patricia is survived by her daughter Kathleen Manning (Philip), daughter in-law Juliet Murphy, brother Allen McNeer, step son Dennis Murphy (Judy), step daughters Denise Clark and Pamela Hinkle. Her grandchildren whom she loved dearly are Kristopher Valinski, Kayla Garone (Steven), Liana Tuitu’u, Brittany Murphy (Trevor), and Lindsay Murphy along with 8 great grandchildren and several nieces.

She is preceded into death by her loving husband Delbert Murphy, son Michael Murphy (Juliet), brother Melvin McNeer, parents Paul and Frances McNeer and baby Murphy.
