Patricia Anne Morris

Patricia Anne Morris passed away on July 9, 2017, in Mesa, AZ, at the age of 58 after battling metastatic breast cancer. She was born June 17, 1959, in Brockton, MA, and moved to Phoenix with her family in 1961 at the age of 2. Pat graduated with honors from Mesa High School in 1977. She was an excellent student and received two scholarships. Pat held Executive Assistant positions with Coldwell Banker and the Cardon Group and EA and marketing positions with Grant Thornton. She also worked in the medical field as an office manager, and with Southwest Institute of Healing Arts. Pat is survived by her mother, Mary Morris of Mesa, brothers Jeff, of Brentwood, CA, and Robert Steven, of Mesa, nephew Scott Morris and family of Phoenix, aunt Maureen Palmer and family and uncle Lawrence Alan Whalen and family of Massachusetts, and aunt Jean Whalen of Florida. Pat was predeceased by her father, Conrad, and by her brother, Gary. She can best be remembered by her love for and closeness to her family, her quick wit and sense of humor, and by the meticulous attention to detail and dedication to the administrative work she did. She had an extraordinary love for people, music, and animals, particularly horses and her cats. Her memorial service will be at 5 p.m. Saturday, July 29, at Mariposa Gardens, 400 S. Power Road, (at Broadway Road) in Mesa, Arizona 85206.
