Patricia Maureen Connors

Patricia Maureen (Scroope) Connors passed away on 12/24/2022 at her home in Leisure World, Arizona, surrounded by family; she was aged 96. Pat was born March 15, 1926 in Montreal, Canada, moving to Queens, N.Y. (at 3 months old), where she spent her childhood with her parents, Henry and Wilhelmina Scroope, and three older brothers: Harry, Fred, and Bob.

In 1948 Pat married Albert Connors. They were married for 52 years, raising five children on Long Island, N.Y.: Colonel James Connors (Dianne), Patricia O’Brien (Thomas), Richard Connors (Alice), John Connors, and Margaret Connors (Stephen). Pat is survived by five grand children: Thomas, Peggy (Jeff), Christopher (Jena), Stephen (Emma), and Cynthia. She is also survived by four great grand children: Harry, Jack, Elliott and Grace. Pat had many nieces and nephews with whom she remained close to.

In 1981 Pat and Al moved to Leisure World, AZ, meeting many new friends and making new memories. Pat loved her family and friends while enjoying a great life. She will truly be missed. A funeral mass is to be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Mesa, AZ on December, 30th 2022 followed by burial at Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park.
