Norma S. Sweeney, 79, of Mesa, AZ went to be with her Lord on Jan. 16, 2013. She was born to Harry and Venus Rarick on Feb. 2, 1933 in La Junta, CO. Norma was active in Softball, bowling, Bingo and supporting her daughters in their many endeavors. Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Edmund, of 39 years. She is survived by her daughters Janette of Queen Creek, AZ and Kay of Browns Valley, CA; granddaughter Faith Eckley of Cinncinnati, OH, sister Marilyn (Richard) Shuey and nephew, Dent (Marnie) Shuey of Folsom, CA. A Graveside Service will be held on Jan. 23, 2013 at 2:00 pm, at Valley of the Sun Cemetery in Chandler, AZ. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of Lakeshore Mortuary.
