Natalie Rose Pope, of Mesa, Arizona, passed away October 20, 2019 at the age of 92. She was born, February 3, 1927 in Chicago, Illinois to Adolph and Nellie [Platskey] Powell. Natalie was very independent and was one who would “march to the beat of her own drum”, she enjoyed driving her car, and going to McDonald’s, even up until a few days before she passed. She was an active part of a book club and enjoyed many hours with her friends. What meant most to her was her family; she was a loving, mother and grandmother who cherished the time she had with them. Natalie is survived by her children, Ronald (Denise), Roy and Ralph (Anita) Pope; grandchildren, Sharon (Jim) Templin, Nina (Jay) Combs and Anneliese (Nathan) Schultz; her great grandchildren, Victoria, Joseph, James John Jr., Templin and Avery, Luke and Nolan Combs.
