Myrtle Frances Wood

Myrtle was born in Hazleton, Iowa on March 19th, 1931. She graduated from Hazleton High School. Myrtle was married to Robert Willis Henry Wood on September 28th, 1952. Myrtle worked in catering at Long’s Catering in Van Nuys, in California and also worked for the Boy Scouts of America as Registrar. Myrtle was a member of the Lutheran Church and served on Altar Guild, Outreach, and Welcoming Committee. Myrtle had a true passion for her family, friends, traveling, Bowling, Playing Cards, watching Lakers Basketball, Sewing, Knitting, Crocheting and Needlepoint.

Myrtle was survived by her children; Pamela Jean Wood, Grandchildren; Henry Matthews III, Great Grandchildren; Dameon Aranda Matthews, Jesse James Matthews, Siblings; Sister-in-Law, Linda Wagner (Lonnie), Sister- in- Law, Kate Wicks, and a slew of nieces and nephews; Dan, Tom, Steve, Chris, Bruce, Roxanne, Paul, Monette, Rita, Johnny, Rhonda, Melissa, Rick, Ron, Randy, Brenda, Kenny, Lynette, Greg, Shirley, Rita, Kristi, Scott, Brian and their children.
