I somehow missed the passing of Aunt Miriam , she was so sweet and a very special sister to my daddy. As the years went by we fell out of touch , Uncle Don and Aunt Miriam visited my Daddy's when I was a child , they were very nice and kind people .... she was the last sibling left of my daddy's family . 

Lora and I met Miriam and Don in 1989 when we moved to Innerarity Point, Florida to work with the church there. We did not know at that moment what a gift Miriam and Don would be to our lives. Their love and hospitality has been a great blessing for more than 30 years. We are broken hearted for the family, but we are greatly relieved for Miriam, for she is healed, whole, and knows where and who's she is. We will always treasure our friendship with Miriam and Don and we look forward to being together again.

Miriam was the mother of one of my best friend’s growing up in Mesa. She always had a smile, a hug, and helped you believe you could accomplish the tasks set before you. But the Miriam I most loved was the person I got to know just after I graduated from college. This Miriam was an exceptional listener and provided me some great advice and insight about myself…at a critical juncture in my life. I’ll forever remember her fondly and have used that advice again and again. Rest peacefully my Friend. We will catch up in Heaven

I was one of the nurses that took care of Miriam at Bonell, and I’ll never forget when she told me where she’s from. In the sweetest southern accent, Augusta, Georgia. I adored Miriam. She would rub my arm and give me little kisses. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.
