Mercedes Trevizo Esparza

Mercedes Trevizo Esparza passed away April 29, 2015 in Scottsdale, Arizona. She was born March 13, 1921 to Paula and Ramon Trevizo in Ottawa, Kansas. As a child, she moved to Arizona where she grew up. She later married Frank R. Esparza and was blessed with 4 children. Mercy was a loving homemaker who loved to cook and entertain. She loved listening to Mexican music and she loved to dance. She spent much of her time with her sister and best friend Josie. Mercy loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren. She will be missed by all who love her. She is preceded in death by her husband Frank R. Esparza; her parents Paula and Ramon Trevizo; her sister Consuelo Garcia; her brothers Chon and Benito Trevizo and her grandson Christopher Araiza. She is survived by her sons Danny (Esther) Esparza and Henry (Anne) Esparza; her daughters Alice Lyons and Sandra Esparza; her sister Josie Lopez; her brothers Manual, Robert and John Trevizo as well as 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A Visitation will be held from 7-9PM with a 7:30pm Rosary Monday, May 4th, 2015 at Melcher Mortuary Chapel of the Roses 43 S. Stapley Dr. Mesa, AZ 85204. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, May 5th,2015 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church 141 N. MacDonald Mesa, AZ 85201 with burial to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery 1500 E. Baseline Rd.
