Melesio is survived by his wife, Maria Luz Galvan de Garza (Chicago, IL); 11 children, Melissa, Rick, Angel, Juan, Teresa, Richard, Paula, Paul, Junior, Rosemarie and Lorenzo; siblings, Susie and Mario; 42 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Melesio E. Garza and Refugia “Cuca” Garza (Bensenville, IL); siblings, Adam, Eva, Ruben and Carlos.
Melesio was born on February 18th, 1940 in Corpus Christi TX. He graduated from Ray Miller High School in Corpus Christi, TX. He moved to Chicago, IL. in 1957 and eventually to Mesa, AZ. in 2014 to enjoy the desert sunshine.
