Matthew T. Lally, 24, of Mesa, Arizona, passed away on January 28, 2017 as a result of an accidental overdose. He was born October 31, 1992 in Scottsdale, Arizona, the son of Noel Lally in Chandler and Audrey Lally in Mesa. He attended Mesa schools and graduated from Mountain View High School in 2011. He was currently enrolled at Mesa Community College with interests in Electrical, Computers and Finance. In his youth Matthew was involved and excelled in a number of activities. He studied Chun Kuk Do and attained his junior black belt at the age of 14, was a member of the cub scouts, and was an excellent first baseman who enjoyed several years on a travelling team. Matthew’s passions were restoration projects, attempting to beat investment codes on small stocks and road trips to Fossil Creek. He had a passion for helping others and often asked his Mother to help room and board kids in need. He attended Central Christian Church in Mesa. Matthew is survived by his parents Noel of Chandler and Audrey of Mesa; his brother Keenan and his sisters Alyssa, Jewel, Julia, and Joelle. He also leaves his maternal grandmother, Frances Kleister, also of Mesa. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins. Service arrangements are being handled by the Lakeshore Mortuary in Mesa. The Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday at 11:00a.m. at Lakeshore Mortuary, 1815 S. Dobson Rd. Mesa, Arizona and at 1pm at Audrey Lally’s home in Mesa. Flowers may be sent to Lakeshore Mortuary.
