Mary Ann (Dooling) Knowles, loving wife, mother, Grammy, sister and aunt passed away on March 12, 2021 with her family at her side. Mary Ann was born on August 27th, 1945 in Morristown, NJ to Francis J. Dooling and Mary Pauline (Pokluda) Dooling. Mary Ann is survived by her husband of 56 years Gerald Knowles, son James (Michele) Knowles, daughter Elizabeth Knowles, son Kevin (Monica) Knowles and two grandchildren Macey and Taylor whom she absolutely adored. Brother Thomas Dooling Sr., nephew Thomas Dooling Jr. and brother Francis D. Dooling also survive her. Mary Ann was known for her vivacious, vibrant personality and putting a smile on everyone’s face with her infectious humor. Mary Ann will be remembered for her compassion and her love of volunteering and philanthropy. Services will be held for the immediate family at Dignity Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park and Funeral Care. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be directed to St. Jude’s Children’s and Research Hospital (stjude.org) and USMC Toys for Tots (toysfortots.org/donate) in Mary Ann’s memory.
