She was born in Fargo, North Dakota on June 11, 1936. She was married to Lawrence Duane Klataske on June 11, 1966 in San Diego, California at Mission de Alcala. Mary Ellen had a career in Pathology. She had a passion for reading, gardening, concerts, plays, and keeping up with the news.
She is survived by her husband Lawrence Duane Klataske; her son David Lawrence Klataske; Her grandchildren Sean (Julie), Melissa, and CC (Holly); Her great-grandchildren Bradley, Andrew, Brook, Selena, and Ayden. Her sister Sandra Bittner.
A memorial service for Mary will be held Saturday, May 17, 2025 at 2:00 PM at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 322 N. Horn St., Mesa, Arizona 85203.
