Mary Susan Keyes

On Thursday, September 9, 2021, Mary Susan Powell-Keyes, loving mother of four children, passed away at the age of 74. Mary, known by family and friends as Suzie, was born in Phoenix and lived most of her life in Tempe, Arizona, where she graduated from Tempe High School in 1964. She raised her four children, Dave, Kelly, Kim and Dan in Tempe before moving to Chandler. She worked most of her life in the medical field, doing scheduling, front desk or billing, but was willing to help out with anything that needed to be done. Her favorite thing about her jobs was the people, both co-workers and patients. Suzie loved nothing more than time with family; her parents, her siblings, her kids, her grandchildren and her nieces and nephews. Suzie was preceded in death by her father, Carl, her mother, Bea, her brother, Carl, her sister, Linda, and her oldest son, Dave. She is survived by her sister, Carolyn, her daughter, Kelly and her husband Marko, her daughter, Kim, her son Dan and his wife Carrie, along with five grandchildren, Austin, Lucas, Addison, Aliyana and Jackson. A virtual funeral service will take place on September 26 at 11:30 am.
