Mary Alice Fries passed away August 23, 2019 in Gilbert, AZ at the age of 84. She was born January 20, 1935 in Wheaton, IL to Charles and Alice [Stevens] Graff. Mary was married to Clarence Fries on October 1, 1955 and the two started their family and raised five children, Gerald, Darrell, Scott, Carl and Bonnie. Mary and Clarence were together for 55 years, until his passing in 2007. She enjoyed Bingo, playing cards, doing crossword puzzles and word searches as well as listening to country music and watching her game shows. Mary was a working mother on the assembly line at Simpson Electric, an electronics manufacturer. Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Clarence and her son Scott. She is survived by two sisters; Lois Walker of St.Charles IL., and Kathy Gaupp of Marengo IL. She will be truly missed by her sons; Gerald Fries, Darrell Fries, Carl Fries, and her daughter Bonnie Fries. She was deeply loved by eight grandchildren, and her nine great grandchildren.
