Mary Margaret Francis

Mary Margaret Francis passed away November 3, 2012 in Tempe, Arizona. Mary was born March 27, 1930 in Chicago Illinois to August and Helen Hazard. Mary was head of her high school class and graduated from Lindbloom High School in 1947. She married Charles V Francis in 1948. Mary was the devoted mother of two children, Charles and Kathryn. Mary first worked as a dental assistant, but later had a successful women's fashion sales career. Mary loved the Lord, and after moving to Tempe, Arizona in 1981, she dedicated her life to serving others in the name of the Sacred Heart.

Mary is survived by her husband, two children, six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Mary has two surviving sisters from her family of eight siblings. Mary's immediate family praises God for his grace in giving her to us. Even as we grieve the loss of her earthly presence, we ask her church family and all her dear friends to join us in rejoicing in her heavenly union with Christ Jesus, our King. A memorial service will be held at Resurrection Catholic Church, 3201 S. Evergreen Rd., Tempe Arizona on Friday, November 9, 2012, at 10:00am.
