From an early age she had a love of God and all his creations, rescuing any cat, dog, or rabbit she came across, usually in cahoots with her dear brother and sister, Jerry and Betty. Her sense of humor made her easily likable and she made friends easily. She met the love of her life, David, while working at AT&T in New York City - and it was love at first sight. They would go on to marry and have two daughters, Leslie, and Julie. They moved to California with family for warmer weather and opportunity to raise their family before moving to Arizona to retire. She was a phenomenal cook and talented painter with a love of music and she shared those talents with her family. Beloved by friends, family, and coworkers she will be remembered for a smile that lit up a room, her unwavering faith, and countless hours around the table where she made sure all were welcome.
She is survived by husband, David, daughters Leslie Kuegemann (Craig), Julie Mayfield (Mike), granddaughter Laura Ontiveros (Ivan) and nieces, Kris Erickson (Mike) Susie Berg , Marcy Sadikoff (Preston) Rona Wokowsky (Dave Stilling), and nephew Tim Hendrick.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, April 11th at Mariposa Gardens in Mesa, with Viewing starting at 9:00 a.m. and service at 11:00 a.m. with a light reception to follow.
