Maria Del Rosario Labrie

In the sanctified stillness of God's loving presence, Maria Del Rosario Labrie (Pineda) was serenely called to her heavenly home on February 28, 2024, in Phoenix, Arizona. At the venerable age of 84, she completed her earthly sojourn, having first graced this world on October 8, 1939, in Puente de Camotlán, Nayarit, Mexico. Maria's life was a devout reflection of Christ's teachings, imbued with the holy virtues of humility, gratitude, and an unwavering reverence for all of God's wondrous creation.

She is survived by her blessed family, who will forever treasure her memory: daughters Bertha Pineda, Blanca Pineda, Irma Gastelum (Sergio Gastelum), Emilia Mendoza; sons Rafael Labrie, George Labrie (Sylvia Avalos), Enrique Huerta. Her love and grace live on in her 16 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren, each a shining example of her enduring faith and compassion.

The faithful are invited to join in prayerful remembrance and to pay their respects at a viewing on March 14th, 2024, from 3 pm to 5 pm at Advantage Melcher Roses, 43 South Stapley Dr., Mesa, AZ 85204. A sacred Mass of Resurrection, celebrating her soul's ascent into the eternal embrace of our Lord, will be offered on March 15th, 2024, at 10 AM at Christ The King Church, 1551 E Dana Ave, Mesa, AZ 85204. Maria will be laid to rest in the consecrated grounds of Resthaven Cemetery, 4310 East Southern Ave., Phoenix, Arizona 85042 at 12:00 PM.

In the spirit of Maria Del Rosario Labrie's life, let us each strive to emulate her exemplary embodiment of Christlike humility, her heartfelt gratitude for every blessing, and her sanctified respect for the entirety of God's handiwork. May her soul, through the mercy of God, rest in peace and rise in glory amidst the heavenly chorus. Amen.
