Louise Alice Peterson

Louise was married to Norman Felix Peterson on May 28th, 1949, in California. They went on to have three daughters, tons of grandkids, great grandchildren, and even a great great-grandchild.

Louise worked a career in cosmetology for 40 years.

She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served for many years in the Mesa, AZ Temple with her husband, Norman Peterson. Louise had a passion for painting, art, music, hiking, and genealogy. She had deep adoration for her family, especially the love of her life, Norman Peterson, and their beautiful golden retriever, Sadie, who will miss her immensely.

Louise is survived by her husband, Norman Peterson; her daughters Janet Wittenberg, Karen Knowles, and Dena Peterson; her grandchildren David Wittenberg, Lisa Mascho (Richard Mascho), Cindy Hulterstrom (Steve Hulterstrom), Michael Wittenberg, Amy Smith (Travis Smith), Wendy Michel (Ryan Michel), Kimberly White (Shawn White), Matthew Larson (Ning Larson), Aaron Knowles; her great grandchildren Skye Smith, Sherrod Smith (Brooklyn Smith), Shea Smith, Sage Smith, Carson Michel, Sophie Michel, Emily Michel, Logan Michel, Sarah Michel, Abby Larson, Austin Cowart, Aleyah White, Elias White, EllyAnna White, Lucas Larson, Nalani Larson, Benjamin Larson, Garrett Knowles, Keagan Knowles, Reagan Knowles, Madison Knowles, Shyla Debrine, Amy Hollingsworth, Aaron Wittenberg, Olivia Wittenberg, Ashley Mascho, Emily Mascho, Ricky Mascho, Camie Hulterstrom, Blake Hulterstrom, Lexie Hulterstrom, and her great great-grandchild Emya Knowles.

Louise was preceded in death by her father Earl Elbert Lyman; her mother Edna Grace Lyman; her brothers Phillip Lyman, Richard Lyman, and Robert Lyman; and her son-in-law David Wittenberg.

A graveside service for Louise will be held Monday, June 26, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park, 6747 East Broadway Road, Mesa, AZ 85206.

Louise will be laid to rest in Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park.
