Louis Pejlovas, 78, passed away in his residence after suffering a fatal heart attack. Louis was born February 7th, 1936 in Dunaszentpal, Hungary to Maria Bors and Balint Pejlovas. Louis became a man at age 14 when he was compelled to support his father. At 20 he and the love of his life, Paula Daniel, escaped their homeland during the Soviet invasion and immigrated to America in 1956.
Louis was a master tool & die maker. After living in New Jersey for five years, he and Paula decided to move their young family to California where he believed their dreams could be realized. Louis was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes over fifty years ago. Paula was there for him through every moment of suffering the disease brought him. It is because of Paula that Louis was able to live so long with his ailment. Within ten years in California Louis opened a small machine shop that with the help of his sons grew and flourished. This business gave Louis the resources to live his life with vigor as he travelled back to his homeland several times.
Louis is survived by his wife of 57 years, Paula; his three sons, Louis, Stephan and John; his daughter-in-laws Melissa and Michele; and his seven grandchildren, Louis III, Aaron, Allyson, Maxwell, Alexa, Mia and Danny. Louis loved his grandchildren as he did all children and all children loved him back as he was so easy to get along with.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce that our sweet Apu, our father, our grandfather and our friend, that his heart stopped beating on May 15th in his home surrounded by his loving family.
Louis will have a memorial service at Holy Cross Catholic church in Mesa, Arizona on Wednesday, May 21st at 3pm.
The Pejlovas family wishes to thank everyone who shares our sorrow of this great loss. We love and miss you, Apu, but we will never forget you.
