Lois "Tim" Jeanette Cox

Lois “Tim” J. Cox, born January 26, 1931 in Daggett, MI, to Oscar and Hulda [Ringstrand] Nelson passed away May 23, 2013 in Mesa, AZ at the age of 82. Lois was a loving mother, grandmother and sister; she loved to play Bingo, enjoyed traveling and was a great cook. She is survived by her daughters Lisa Cox, Lori (Don) Wallette, and Linda (Larry) Phoenix; sisters Marilyn (George) Beaudoin, Myrtle (Mark) Marklien, Carol Lee (Phil) Carroll and Janice Jablonski; brother Wilbert Nelson as well as her eight grandchildren, Megan, Virginia Trey, Kyla, Hailey, Lauren, James and Michael. Lois was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lt. Col. Richard E. Cox and her daughter Leslie Copenhaver; brothers Glen, Roy, Robert and Donald and her sister Eileen. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at Mariposa Gardens Cemetery Chapel, 6747 E. Broadway Rd in Mesa with an interment immediately following at the City of Mesa Cemetery.
