Wells, Larry Howard age 66, passed away November 28, 2013 in Mesa, Arizona. He was born in Murray, Utah, October 21, 1947 to Mavis Iona Park & Howard Walton Wells. He married his love, Shirley Diane Gothard on August 27, 1966 and were blessed with 2 daughters, Tammy Diane and Shanie Lee. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Diane Wells; children, Tammy Diane Hunsaker (Todd Edward, Sr.) and Shanie Lee Jones (Jeremy Matthew), 5 grandchildren Tayla Ann Nielsen (Kyle), Todd Edward Hunsaker Jr., Tucker Lee Hunsaker, Emery James Christian, and Andrew Allen Jones; his brother Keven Keith Richardson (Nola) his sisters, Cindy Dawn Reeves and Nicki Jo Dowd along with many other family members. He is preceded in death by his mother, his father, and his brother Cody Richardson. Larry enjoyed meeting new people and was often known to start up a conversation with someone in line or just out and about. He had such a positive outlook on life telling his daughters to, "Always be happy when others talk about you because it just means you are interesting." He was a t-shirt, flannel shirt, hat, and jeans guy. A simple man. A mellow man. Vibrant and alive. One who knew the value of eternal and not temporal things. His favorite things to do were sitting in his chair outside listening to his radio, fixing things, watching TV shows and visiting Triple D restaurants with his love, Diane. He was a proud husband, father, and grandfather. His grandchildren were his world and they knew him affectionately as, "Grandpa Grump" or "Grumpy." He thrived on spending time with and doing projects for his children and grandchildren. We will all miss him greatly. A celebration of life will be held in both Arizona at his brothers home and Utah at his favorite restaurant, Amber Family Restaurant in Spanish Fork, UT. We love you and miss you Grump - Funeral Arrangements entrusted to Melcher Mission Chapel, Mesa, Arizona www.melchermission.com
