I am going to play our favorite game, Entropia Universe. Get swirlie just for you. Maybe a HOF! You were such an amazing person, shared so much of yourself with everyone. We have so many wonderful memories that we will talk about often. You will be forever in our hearts. We love you Banana.

Dearest Lana,

Our team hasn't been the same since you left us. Every day you would request for the magic box. Which was our team adherence to see how you were doing throughout the day. If you were below goal you were quick to ask a team mate to borrow some of there adherence. If your team mates were below goal you would offer some of your adherence points. You always made the chat light hearted and found a way to make us laugh. If someone was having a hard day, you would post a gif that would just make them smile. We miss you so dearly and we know that you are in sweet paradise making heaven a bit brighter. We will always cherish your sweet spirit.

Lana, Lana, Lana, Cuz, Cuz, Cuz It's been a while. Strange how life works sometimes. Last time we were together we were talkin about driving your truck back to Arizona. I regret now that I didn't make the time.You were always so full of life, joy & happiness. Always smiling, laughing, cracking jokes. I really envied you for that. Talented & creative as could be. Never knew I took a pic of your artwork did ya. I might have to try myself on a wall one of the days, years, century's.There was always a reason to laugh & smile with you around. I remember when I was a smaller pain in the butt & you had your convertible, you drove Arlene & I up for ice cream. We laughed, sang & laughed some more. Cuz, you are an individual to be admired & looked up to. If we could all be happy & joyous like you, image what the world would be.

Lana and I met at work, we would commiserate over the rough days and laugh through the funny situations...I nicknamed her 'Nana', she was my go-to person both in and out of work.  

Lana had hilarious stories to tell, I was always amazed when she would tell stories of growing up and the other jobs she had in the past....she had so much wisdom to share and she was so good at seeing the amusing part of any situation.

She was always around to talk, we kept in close contact even after we began working from home.  She was there for others when they needed her, and I'm so glad I got to be a friend of hers and be there for her in the same way.

I will cherish the time we shared.

Nana, you will be greatly missed....

Lana was the daughter of one of my dearest friends, her mother Mary.  I had met her through the years but got to know her well as her mother's health declined.  She came back to Illinois to care for her mother and we became good friends during that time.  I was an honor to have known her as a generous selfless person.  Rest in peace,  Lana.

I wish I knew how to add a picture - I only have about 100 of them since Lana was born. That little freckle-faced bundle of fun was a super cousin to our children & a dear niece to us. Our son John & Lana were especially close - she took the part of babysitter to John even though she was only a year older.  Guess that was a hint about her personality makeup as she continued to be a caregiver to many.
Her Mom was tremendously grateful when Lana left much of what she loved in AZ to take care of her until the end. I picture John & her Mom & a baby sister that went to heaven before any of them did joyously greeting Lana.
Rest in peace Lana - you made friends along the way.

This is my 3rd try to write something about Lana. Knowing her, she's getting a good laugh. Lana was such a great character! Quick witted, fun and super funny! When we were kids it was a treat to hang out with my older cousin. As adults, we didn't see each other much but when we did it was like no time ever passed.  I was just getting ready to give her a call to visit her when the sad news was delivered. When my son was born Lana wrote a funny letter to him trying to explain our family and the crazy characters and relationships. It was perfect and remains a prized possession.
Tonight I will raise a toast to Lana and celebrate how lucky we were to have her love and laughter touch our lives. Cheers, Lana!
