Julie Ann Rauscher McMurry

Her growing up years were spent in southern California until marriage on May 28, 1966, to Douglas H. McMurry. They lived the majority of their married life in Mesa, Arizona, where they raised their family.

Julie is survived by her husband, Doug, and two children, Tiffany, of Roswell, New Mexico, and Brett (Shari) of Loveland, Colorado, four grandchildren, Elizabeth, Alexandria, Hannah, and Isaac, also of Roswell, New Mexico; a brother, Scott Rauscher of Cheyenne, Wyoming and a sister, Kristine (Steven) of Windsor, California; numerous aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

At an early age, Julie felt her need for God and made a lifelong commitment to serve him. This relationship with the Lord continued all through her life and both she and Doug created an open home for the Lord’s people to gather on Sundays in remembrance of our beloved Savior, Jesus Christ.

Julie passed from life into eternity on April 16, 2011, after a 16-month battle with cancer.

She will be sorely missed by family and many, many dear friends and neighbors.
