Joyzelle I. Wade

Edna Joyzelle (Joy) Ivie Wade passed away peacefully surrounded by family on July 27th, 2023 at the age of 95. She was born March 18th, 1928 in Overton, Nevada. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Ewell Gene Wade, and her four siblings and other family members. She is survived by her five children: David (Jaime), Kevin (Loni), Joyzelle (Jon), Allan (Rose), Janel (Rick), as well as 41 grandchildren and their spouses, and 76 great-grandchildren all of whom love her dearly.

A viewing will be held at the Melcher Chapel of the Roses, located at 43 South Stapley Drive, Mesa, AZ, on Thursday, August 17th from 7:00 to 8:00 pm. There will be a family viewing on Friday, August 18th, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints chapel at 1345 E. University Drive, in Mesa from 8:30 to 9:30 am followed by the funeral service at 10:00 am. Following the funeral services, Joy will be laid to rest next to her husband Gene and her grandson, Steven, at Mariposa Gardens, located at the southwest corner of Power Road and Broadway Road in Mesa, Arizona (400 S. Power Road, Mesa, AZ).

Joy leaves us an exemplary legacy spanning 95 years of a JOYful journey filled with faith, family, friends, service, and love.
