A Life Remembered
“Smokin Joe”
All of us who knew Joe will always remember the strong , handsome and hard working man of integrity that he was. Always his first priority was the care of his family, whether building a home for them or a tree house for his grandchildren he always put others before himself.
Most of us know that that if you wanted a true and honest answer Joe would tell you. He shot “straight from the hip” and gave it to you straight. His laugh was contagious and if he was laughing, so were you.
He loved adventure, saltwater fishing, skydiving and yes even had a short run with a Harley Davidson. Joe was never afraid to step out and try his hand at something new.
Joe fought a long and courageous battle with liver disease and always prayed that in it he would bring honor and glory to the Lord and be an example to those around him.
Our hearts are overwhelmed with sadness, but we know he will live in our hearts and memories forever until we are reunited in heaven together. You will be missed.
