My heartfelt and deepest condolences to John's family.
He was always so kind to me whenever we'd meet.

 That is truly how John lived. 
His Perspective in life always made me want to live more thoughtfully. I always felt seen and heard when John came around . I loved the reassurance John would give me when things in my life did not go as planned. He always said “you will figure it out”.
I learned how to be a better man just by watching how he treated others.

John will be forever missed, may he rest in peace.


I had the joy of working for Auer for a few years and was so grateful to know John and Linda. I enjoyed being a part of their team. John always made everyone feel like a part of the family. He was a kind and generous man. My condolences to his family and loved ones.

John was one of the most amazing, caring, funny, and positive person you'll ever meet.  He cared and loved everyone of us who worked at Auer.  He treated us all equally with love, care, and respect.  He knew all of us by our names.  He inspired us all to treat each other here at Auer like a family.  

John, we are all going to miss your presence, your smile, your inspired words, your laugh, and especially your love.

John was one of the best people I ever have had the chance to know. His kindness and caring were unsurpassed. Always will remember him and he will be greatly missed. Hope I see you in the next life. Rest In Peace my friend.

I met John in 1998 just a day after I started working at Auer Precision. He walked into the room I was in, and started chatting with me. I thought he was just another employee, he was friendly, easygoing, the nicest person! (Those who knew him, know that was just John being John), then at the end of the conversation, he introduced himself. From that day on, I saw John as a friend. Over the years he was always encouraging and supportive. I worked there for 20+ years, and all I saw from John was a friendly, humble, kind man. He would always come into my office and sit down and ask me about life, give me advice, and always praise, even little things I did outside of work. He made everyone feel cared about. John was a true role model in many ways, his leadership style and his humble personality taught me a lot. He was above all a friend and someone I will miss, but remember with much appreciation.

John In celebration of life here on earth you will always be remembered as one of the greatest men who lived.

I am grateful to have known John as an employee at Auer Precision.

John loved to visit his employee's rain or shine with a great smile and hello always making you feel like family.  

 Such a wonderful and kind man with a humble way about him made John special. 

John was a great person always open to conversation putting his Family first and his 2nd family his employee's and friends
above all.

So many great times at Auer like baseball games and celebrations when ever a season arrived for fun a great way for John to 
say I care.

I will miss John for his kindness, honesty, and great sense of humour,  generosity and love for others.

So comforting in my heart that John is now at rest.

Johnny was not only a great man to work for but a great man to know. Always kind, always caring, always there to talk about the things in your life. Just one of the best human beings I have ever had the pleasure to call a friend. I feel blessed to have known him.  I will forever miss him.

Consolidated Resources Inc. has been a service to John and his company for  over15+ years.  The first time I met John, we hit it off like we've known each other for years.  John and I were born within the same era and spent many great times talking not only about business but also family, worldly happenings, kids, grand kids,etc.  He was an extraordinary person who was smart,caring  and down to earth.  I would rank him as #1 in a large list of customers we service.  Personally, I will miss him, his smile, and friendliness.  He will always be remembered as a very fine gentleman.  My prayers go out to him and his entire family.

John was my brother and my friend.  We shared a lot of time together and I never got tired of his company.  He was a good and kind man with a big heart, quick smile, and infectious laugh.  John and Fred worked together to create Auer Precision starting with little more than a pickup truck.  The company will not be the same without him and neither will the rest of us.  I hope we can all be as kind and loving to Linda as Johnny was to us.

So sorry to hear about John.  I will never forget his kindness and generosity.  Always had the biggest smile and caring for his associates.  RIP 🙏 

We enjoyed making memories together with Uncle John and Aunt Linda.  Camping together we’re some of the best times.  The RV made it through some rocky Pennsylvania roads to a few back woods camp grounds.  Uncle John was so kind, humble and funny and we are going to miss him so much.  He had an amazing gift of bringing comfort and genuine care to any conversation that you shared with him.  He also gave you the best hugs too… Rest in Peace Uncle John 

John Auer wasn't just the owner of Auer Precision, he was truly the man who made us all feel as though we were his family. His words actions and heart affirmed us all to be part of his life. I will forever remember John with his gleaming smile, heart felt words, outward warmth each and every time our paths met in my many privileged years at Auer Precision.

Shortly after Uncle Tom Kosack's 100th birthday celebration October 3, 1998, he was flown to Arizona as guest of John & Linda and Carl & Helen Auer to enjoy several weeks in the sun. (Uncle Tom survived until age 105.)

A special moment in our family was everyone gathering for the celebration of Uncle Tom Kosack's 100th birthday, October 3, 1998, in Lansing, MI. 

I still remember my first conversation with John and that was about food from different countries. John was a very friendly and humble man. Whenever he walked to the office area he would stop and say “how are you doing” and would give a fist bump. Such a lovely and friendly man.



John had a heart of gold and treated everyone with kindness.   If he saw an unfamiliar face, he would ask their name and make it a point to go introduce himself.  He was never too busy for anyone.  John would drop in  at the end of every week to say "I hope you're doing something fun this weekend".   His big smile and daily chats are greatly missed.  
RIP John.  

John was truly the nicest most kind man I have ever had the pleasure of working for.  He always had a smile and kind word to anyone he meet.  He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Dear Johnny, you  left us with  so many good  childhood memories  of playing in the creek, in the barn, and with the dogs. Idyllic.  Sorry that I never got the opportunity to visit you out there in the desert. Rest in peace. See you on the other side.

Uncle John would ask you how you are and listen to your answer. He would ask about me family and truly care. If I gave him the short answer of good he would ask about each of them by name to get a better answer.
 He was a good man down to his soul and I will miss talking with him and the time I got to spend with him.
 

Life is short and time together with our loved ones is so very precious.

You had the biggest, warmest heart I've ever had the pleasure to know. It's never good-bye, it's just until next time. Lots of love. 

The last of the five brothers to enter the gates of heaven. All gone too soon. All missed. Blessed to have my dad's (Frank) youngest brother as an uncle. Always there for us and always kind and loving.  We will miss you Uncle Johnny. Hug my dad for me and your other brothers for me, Lou, Carl and Freddie. In 1982 all the brothers were together and what a fun night it was! I danced with every one of them. All charmers and all good looking. Great memories!!

Miss you bud. See you on the other side. 

May beloved first cousin Johnny rest in peace. My father was his mother's little brother. In 1905 when the family was moving from the Bridgeport train-stop home to the farm in Bullskin Twp via horse & wagon, Uncle Tom stated it was Johnny's mother's "job" to watch the newborn baby. They all forever after shared a loving bond. Generosity loyalty & loving personalities continued to be trademarks of the succeeding generations.
